Ariana
Today's star of the show is miss Ariana. What I love most about this dress is the color! This is my favorite color ever, pink! Not only is it just a pink it's cotton candy pink. Theres something so sweet about this color that just makes the dress adorable. I find this dress is along the dainty side. I named her Ariana because I felt like it was a very cute and feminine name, and feminine is exactly what this dress is about,
Ariana was inspired by the color pink. The whole dress revolved around this particular color because I was going for the softer look. I was also inspired by what the color pink represents. For one it represents friendship and I believe that friendships are important because they bring out that happiness inflicted upon us. Since pink represented friendships I thought of flowers and how they grow together in harmony, and in a way friendships are like flowers. You grow with your friends and then years go by and you have shared memories, then when your not looking you become a family. Thats why I placed flowers on the dress because of what the flowers represented to me. Pink also represents affection, and I drew a string of pearls on the top of the dress to give the idea that when your in love or in a strong friendship with someone you are strung together like a string of pearls. I gave Ariana a big ball gown because I felt like it was approachabe and pleasing to the eye. I added layers to the dress to give her a sweeter look. Ariana is like a giant cupcake she's sweet looking and it is always known for being cute and adorable. Ariana was styled in a girly way because pink is the offical color for girls and it represents the sugar and spice and everything nice. Kind of like being a power puff girl. This dress was inspired by girl power. Girls are supposed to be soft and sweet , nuturing , loving, and compassionate, I wanted Ariana to represent that. I feel like as women we are supposed to be empowering and strong in a feminine way. I'm not saying go be a girly girl I'm saying we should be strong and caring and do things through kindness. We should always be role models for other girls and inspire others to be kind and do great things. I think society now and days is always telling young girls, you need to be sexy to get a man's attention. However, I feel like we should be telling young girls that they're beautiful no matter what they look like and that they don't need to dress so skimpy to get attention. Why can't we reinforce the idea of intelligence, strength, and inner beauty? Why is society establishing small ideas into womens heads? Why are women always looked at as weak and fragile creatures? I say the hell with that idea. Ladies, you are smart, beautiful, and you can do whatever you want. You don't need to be sexy to turn heads, try being sexy smart. Don't let others control your idea of what you think is beautiful. If your friends have a small self-esteem use that girl power and tell them that society is ugly and she's beautiful, sexy, smart, and she has the power to do anything if she puts her mind to it. Spread the world and change lives. Be the pink ribbon in someone elses bow.
Anonymous says "Family isn't always blood. It's the people in your life who want you in theirs. The ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what." Love comes in all different packages. You shouldn't have to change yourself for anyone and always remember you are beautiful no matter what. I deicate this post to my bestfriends, my second family, and the loves of my life Ernie Cavasos, and Ana Laura Ramon.
