Makayla

Happy Friday my dear readers. Meet Makayla! She is the ultimate spring, and Goddess like dress. I love this dress from the color, the style, and the flowers. 

Makayla was created by nothing other than my own imagination. I wanted to give her an off the shoulder just because I really love the off the shoulder style because it really shows off a bit of skin without being so reveling hence, the long sleeves for a bit of modesty. We get the best of both worlds here. I was inspired by the 1800's Gone With the wind style dress because I kind of liked the style of the big dresses back then with the off the shoulder sleeves. I feel it's so romantic. I used a aqua blue because it represents communication between hearts. I choose to use this dress this week because I know this weekend is Valentines in honor of that I wanted to use something that spoke of love and matters of the heart. I also used yellow roses down the side of the dress because yellow roses represent Friendship, and joy. It is another way of telling someone you love them without being romantic. I bet I already lost you by combining romance and friendship but trust me I'm getting there.   So as I was speaking to you about matters of the heart and friendships is beacause I wanted to talk about to you about being heart broken and dealing with heart breaking stuff. I know I don't want you get depressed and go buy a tub of strawberry icecream and watch the notebook while you cry. No I wanted to throw out there that weather or not you have a special valentine this year you don't have to be sad if you don't have someone to love and share this special day with. I say put the tub of icecream away and put your self together be a strong willed person. You don't need a man to find happiness you can find happiness in friendships, or in something your passionate about. We build our own happiness and nobody is responsiable for that happiness. And if you have someone to share that love with be happy and share that happiness with your significant other. Remind yourself how blessed you are to have found love. I just wanted to remind you about survival. You can survive without love and you can survive with love. Take it from me I've been through a long distance relationship and it revolved around survival. I had to learn how to love someone who wasn't around to spend Valentines day with me, someone who wasn't around for all the precious moments in my life that I wish I shared with him. I bet you all are wondering how I could possiably love someone who wasn't around. I survived because I love him. I knew that dispite it all he and I would end up together and we were going to be ok because we had love on our side. He loves me and I love him and that's the only reason why long distance ever worked. Because we had hope that our love would be strong enough to keep us together. I had to have patience because when I saw him when he came home I knew it was all worth it. Just trust me you guys if you wait for love it'll happen. It always works out when you least expect it. I know you can survive all the heartbreaks, love, and distance. I know this because I lived it. So don't be sad be glad and strong.

Anonymous says, "You're strong, you survived living through the pain of it all. You will survive the dealing time. Things will get better, even better than better." You can survive anything just be greatful that youn are alive and healthy. So enough with my survival of love and heartbreak rant it really wasn't planned if I'm being honest but I hope you guys know how incrediably special you are to me and you are my little valentines.

                   Hey there my fellow readers, I wanted to apologize for not uploading a post last week. If I'm going to be honest I wasn't feeling it, and I wasn't movtivated nor was I feeling positive or truthful with myself. So since I wasn't feeling like the best of me I  decided to spare you the lame post and save it for another day. So without futher ado this is Elena. I'm pretty sure you've guessed the inspiration by now and if you haven't just listen to this quote by an unknown author, "You can't direct the wind, but you can adjust the sails."

          So I know you guys are used to my cute and girly dresses and trust me I'll get back to that soon but I wanted to do something dark, sexy, and edgy so therefore my baby Elena was created. Normally a pirate wouldn't wear a dress when sailing through seas but I wanted to use my imagination. Think of it was a pirate wedding dress and it's not the typical white wedding dress because hello pirates are wild and reckless, who is white and innocent right? We're all a little ruthless and ruff at some point. I did a sweet heart neckline to show off the chest for some sex appeal. Elena wasn't made for conseravative women it's made for a little pow. I wanted people to look at it and have all the attention to the pirate...err uh woman wearing it. I gave the dress a little vest because I tend to see pirates wearing vests for a more rugged look. On the vest I added x's that falls along the vest because x marks the spot. I added a striped pattern cause I also see the pirates wearing stripes, so I had to add the signatutre look.  The style of the dress was made in mermaid style because mermaids are found in the sea and a pirate may encounter a mermaid or two and it's also related to the sea so therefore a mermaid dress was a must. I wanted a edgy look so on the tail I added some ruffed layers of a different color because its different and gives it the illusion of being ruff. I wanted to do a pirate dress because when I was a senior in high school I was given a solo in ballet to  be a pirate. I felt like that solo was like my life. In many ways that was the year that I pushed to find my treasure or more or less myself. I always pretended to be something I'm not and that year I found who I really was and what I  really wanted to be. I found my confidence and I found what I really wanted to do with my life. I also found who I was supposed to be. Senior year is all about choices, and when your left your left to choose.  When your faced with any situation you always have a choice. Every choice you have to make leads you to your destination. Much like a pirate you follow the ocean and you make choices in which way you want to sail. So think about choices, think about where your sailing and your destinations. Where are you  going to find your  treasure fight for it be ruthless.

       So here's a quote from Captain Jack Sparrow. " The problem is not the problem; the problem is your attitude about the problem." How you choose to deal with stuff is your problem you can deal with stuff in a negative way or you can deal stuff in a postitive way. However, the choice is yours and it will effect your attitude and your actions. So before you act think first, how do you really want to live your life and how you want to approach things.
